Save music and video from a link. It fixes itself.

Paste a link, pick MP3, MP4, WAV or M4A, and go. When a site changes its rules and downloads stop working, UniDown updates its own engine and tries other methods automatically.

Why UniDown

Built for people who just want it to work.

Self-repairing

Checks for a newer download engine on launch and every few hours. If a download fails, it updates, switches to the nightly build and tries alternate methods, all on its own.

Four formats

Audio as MP3, WAV or M4A, or video as MP4. Conversion is built in, nothing else to install.

Clean, simple window

One box, one button. Progress, speed and time left on each download, with dark and light themes.

Sets itself up

The installer is tiny. On first launch UniDown downloads what it needs (the .NET runtime, yt-dlp and ffmpeg, about 130 MB) and keeps it updated. You need an internet connection the first time.
